Well, I use a ruler when I have to make straight lines, but to get the simmetry, I design the half part of the logo first, then, I put another sheet against light and transfer the lines. Then I put it upside down and draw everything on a new sheet, and do the other half, writting the letters with the shape I got from the transfer.
